We were blown away by our experiences at some of the best hotels in Puno Lake Titicaca on our recent visit to the highest lake in the world. Our top highlights included a rustic homestay with a local Quechua family on the stunnning Taquile Island, a five star luxury boutique hotel offering some incredibly authentic experiences, a floating B&B and a memorable stay on the beautiful Isla Suasi.
Our advice is plan to stay at least 2- 3 nights on the highest lake in the world and try different types of accommodation during your trip. Don’t make the mistake of visiting Lake Titicaca for just one day as it boasts some wonderfully authentic experiences and stunning landscapes. It’s the perfect place to try some slow tourism and get back to nature.
As always, our exclusive guide to the best hotels in Puno Lake Titicaca includes only the best…
Happy travel planning!
