Fielding and Roman met in Italy in the 90’s and decided to move back to Peru and start a family. They bought the Pisac Inn and slowly did it up little by little opening a small guesthouse. They are both strong supporters of the slow travel movement, believe in preserving the local Andean culture and traditions and are deeply committed and dedicated to a wide range of local projects that support local communities and the Andean culture. They are also the founders and promoters of the Kusi Kawsay Association along with several local families. This is very much a socially responsible business with a big emphasis on sustainable tourism and protecting the environment.

Rooms are set around the outdoor patio and are simple, spotlessly clean and decorated with traditional local weavings from the Amaru community and murals that represent the local Quechua culture. Rooms all have down duvets for those cold evenings.

The hotel itself is a protected building with adobe walls over a metre thick, has a great restaurant downstairs, a comfortable lounge area with a library and board games and a pretty outdoor terrace where you can lounge away an afternoon with a good book or enjoy a coffee.

This is a child friendly hotel that offers several family rooms and they can also help you organize tours to the various sites of interest. They specialize in offering tailor-made tours that showcase the local Andean culture through their travel agency Peru Cultural Journeys.

The Pisac Inn also holds the prestigious TourCert Seal which recognizes them as a business that is committed to responsible tourism. Only a handful of businesses hold this certification in Peru and after going through an in-depth certification process, Pisac Inn was awarded this honour. Set in an idyllic and colourful secluded garden this is the place to stay if you are looking for a quiet night´s sleep and a warm welcome. Guests are greeted by Joyce and Chito Palma, a retired Peruvian couple originally from Lima who lovingly share their home.

The big attraction of this B&B is the beautiful gardens with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Lovingly tended, the eucalyptus forest or lawn areas are beautiful spaces for relaxation and unwinding after a strenuous trek to the nearby Pisaq ruins.
